Compound operates four brands under one roof with a tight-knit team of 50+ employees.
We are looking for a passionate person; you’ve gotta LOVE yourself, LOVE our brand and LOVE our purpose. Oh and you should have some experience too! The perfect candidate will be a highly skilled communicator through both visual and written form. This role reports to our Senior Communications Manager, so taking direction is key. You’ll also assist the creative and marketing department.
Tasks are listed below. But don't worry, we don’t expect you to be a pro right off the bat; we want you to GROW with us!
Work closely with Sr. Comms Manager to develop a social media strategy - we want to establish and grow a community and connection across all relevant platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, etc)
Maintain a content calendar that clearly maps out content and copy in advance of posting
Use a consistent brand voice and vision across all social media platforms
Create organic social content including photo, video and text-based posts. Examples include: behind the scenes, storytelling/athlete spotlights, unboxings, styling tips, etc
Provide copy for all social media posts and support with email and SMS marketing
Collect and present social media analytics and work closely with Sr. Comms Manager to identify what’s working and what isn’t
Collect and curate UGC from our community, for use on our own social channels
Work directly with Sr. Comms Manager on influencer seeding, campaigns and contests
Stay up to date with new social media platforms and technology, ensuring we are always early adopters of upcoming trends
Relevant work or personal social experience (hey, maybe you’re an influencer!)
Experience writing copy & posts on social media (this includes hashtags)
Experience with email marketing and other digital platforms considered an asset (not a mandatory)
Ability to create visually engaging content (photo and video) using only a phone
Keeps up to date with current trends, media and technology
Knowledge or interest in the fashion and accessory industry
Excellent proof-reading abilities
Good presentation skills and the ability to create mock-ups and build pitch decks
A confident person, who isn’t afraid to speak up in meetings! Because we know the best idea can come from anyone in the room, not just our leaders
